Mr Kozak's II: A Taste of Delicious Gyros and Great Hot Dogs in Holland

Gyros are fantastic but fries haven't been cooked all the way through the last couple of visits. Fries were not bad despite being not completely cooked. The Italian Beef and Gyros are always exceptional and they have great Chicago Dogs as well.

This is the only place around for good Gyro's and the fries are so good too! Not 100% authentic Gyro's and needed more tzatziki sauce, but still not disappointed.

I love little inconspicuous restaurants that are unexpectedly delicious. Mr Kozaks is one of those places. If you like Gyros, you won't be disappointed. I believe that they are drive-thru only right now. The food is always still hot by the time I get back home to eat it. My one tip: always order extra sauce!

I’ve eaten at Mr Kozaks before, but this time I went through the drive thru. Ordering was easy enough, and you barely see the employees or the store. That being said, I was served very quickly and my gyro with feta was delicious. They don’t skimp on toppings, and the sandwich was packed. Gotta be careful eating these. It was worth every bite though. I’d definitely recommend their gyros any day.

If you blink driving by you will miss it. Drive thru only at this time which is a non issue. Ordered the Gyro Plate. Huge portion. Super tasty. Everything was amazing and this will be a regular when Im working in Holland.

In a world (Holland, MI) of overpriced, mid food, one man will rise above; a shining light in the darkness, and that man is Mr Kozak... 2. Is it the best food in Holland? Maybe not. Does the Gyro with feta, fries, and a cherry coke for under 15 bucks slap harder than anything else in the city? Absolutely. My only complaints are that I wish they stayed open at least until 8 (late would be a dream) and I wish the fries weren't quite so mushy. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

In 2010 I lived in the Holland area and was obsessed with Mr. Kozaks, at least 3 times per week. I have never forgotten it and always get it when I am anywhere within an hour away and youre open the same time. I compare every gyro meat I eat elsewhere to Mr. Kozaks.... yours is just my favorite. I am not sorry, just sorry others arent as good as Mr. Kozaks

I was in Germany for 2+ yrs and was introduced to Gyros. Kozaks and Hellas in Tarpin Springs are the only places in 35 yrs that I have found that's holds up to my expectations. I have tried different places and was very disappointed. This is what is left after was done with the peta. Lot of extra meat etc. I was there on 1/29/26. This is what I got. Burnt peta, chunky sauce. The meat actually did taste like it was fresh. Felt like it was the result of being microwaved. This by far the worst Peta I had from kozaks.
